Our Team

Morgan is a Pennsylvania licensed Occupational Therapist at Capable Kids. Morgan recently received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Duquesne University in December of 2023. Her doctorate capstone project focused on creating a program to support young adults’ mental health by creating occupational balance. As an Occupational Therapist, Morgan strives to promote empathy, choice, and vulnerability, to support her clients where they are, engaging in meaningful and purposeful activities. She loves being a part of all the little successes that help her patients reach their full potential and increase their self-esteem. Morgan’s time at Capable Kids begin in 2022 as a student of Miss Alyssa’s, when she continued to fall in love with working in pediatrics! Outside of work Morgan loves traveling to new, beautiful places with her favorite people, spending countless hours in the sun, running, and eating endless amounts of ice cream. 

 Megan has been practicing Occupational Therapy since 2017 and has been a team member at Capable Kids since, 2018. Megan has Bachelors in Psychology and Neuroscience from Allegheny College.  Megan then pursued an Associate’s Degree of Occupational Therapy Assistant at Community College of Allegheny County.  Megan treats both outpatient and school-based children. She enjoys working with a variety of different types of clients. Megan specializes in working with children who have experienced trauma. She presented a course at the AOTA 2020 Virtual Conference series with Alyson Stover entitled: "Trauma Informed OT: Transforming ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) into Smiling Faces". Outside of work Megan likes spending time with my family and reading.  

 Camille is a 2020 graduate from Penn State Shenango’s Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. She began her time at Capable Kids as a fieldwork student in 2020 and then began as a full time team member in 2021. Camille primarily practices within the school setting and works with students from kindergarten through third grade as well as Autistic support and Life skills classrooms. Camille loves working with children because of the fun and creativity it allows while working towards growing their independence. Outside of work, Camille loves to cook and bake, enjoy time outside, and spend time with her family, friends, and cat. 

JoLena graduated Cum Laude from Penn State University in 2021 where she was a student of Miss Alyssa's!  JoLena has worked with geriatrics as Director of Rehabilitation at various Skilled Nursing Facilities in PA and OH and has worked with pediatrics at Capable Kids since 2022. She currently treats children of all ages with the primary goal of improving the quality of life of the children and their families. Capable Kids has given her the opportunity and experience to work in the public school system, PA cyberschool, and in an outpatient setting. JoLena is continuing to pursue her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy and outside of work, enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Emily graduated from Thiel College with a major in Communication Science and Disorders. Following her graduation, she pursued the Speech-Language Pathology program at Thiel College, earning a degree in Speech Pathology. In 2023, Emily embarked on her career journey as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Capable Kids. She primarily works in school settings, engaging with students from kindergarten to twelfth grade, including those in Autistic support and Life skills classrooms. Emily finds joy in working with children as each day presents unique and exciting opportunities. Witnessing their growth into successful communicators is her passion. Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on hikes, skiing, and spending time on the lake.

Falan graduated from Thiel College in 2022, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She immediately entered into the Master’s program at Thiel for Speech-Language Pathology, completing the accelerated program in just over a year. She received her Master’s degree in the summer of 2023 and began work at Capable kids as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Falan has always had a passion for working in pediatrics and enjoys helping children reach their full potential while also encouraging confidence along the way. Outside of work, Falan loves to travel to new places, kayak, cook, listen to live music and spend time with her friends and family.

Brittany has worked at Capable Kids since June 2023. She attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor's degree in 2019 and Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2021. Brittany enjoys getting to work with children of all ages and giving them the tools they need to meet their speech goals. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, and going on adventures with her husband and dog!
